About Us

Guard your heart,

for it's the wellspring of your life.

According to CDC, the financial burden of heart disease is $108.9 billion each year in the US alone.

To more effectively reduce the risk of a heart attack, early identification of risk factors is critical. Identifying individuals who are at risk of experiencing a coronary event, early intervention can save their lives.

GUARDaHEART is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that provides education to the community, corporations, Native American organizations, unions, and individuals to promote heart disease awareness, detection, and prevention.

GUARDaHEART is dedicated to fighting and preventing heart disease with the mission "LEARN. DETECT. PREVENT".  Our mission is to empower communities through preventative action and to reduce the risk of heart disease worldwide.

50% of heart attacks occur

in patients with HEALTHY cholesterol levels.

Now it is possible to know the likelihood of having a heart attack within the next 5 years.

What is the PULS Test?

PULS is a simple blood test that identifies individuals who are at risk of experiencing a heart attack, and for whom early intervention can help.

The test measures the body’s immune response to arterial or endothelial injury that leads to the formation and progression of cardiac lesions that can become unstable and rupture. These lesions are the cause of up to 75% of all cardiac events, contrary to the commonly held (and mistaken) belief that narrowing of the arteries causes most heart attacks.

The PULS Cardiac Test provides physicians with this information so that, with patients, they can take preventative action early on, when it is most effective, to improve patient care and potentially prevent death or disability.
